Dr. Trang Duong is a Naturopathic Physician and Registered Midwife. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology (Honors) from UC Santa Cruz and completed a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine in 2000 at Bastyr University in Washington and completed a certificate in Breastfeeding Counselling. She worked as a solo midwife at the Village Health Clinic prior to the Community Birth Program. She supports the midwife team as a midwife with naturopathic & medical approaches to prenatal care, newborn care, breastfeeding challenges, and contraceptive options such as IUD & Nexplanon insertions. She maintains a Naturopathic Practice with her husband Dr. Brian Gluvic. She enjoys caring for families from fertility & preconception care through pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and well baby care - supporting a holistic and natural approach to health for families.
