I began my journey into midwifery four days after my third birthday as I stood beside the midwife that helped bring my sister into this world at our home in California. My mom taught childbirth classes in our home. In 2010 I earned my Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia and that fall began the naturopathic medical program at Bastyr University in Seattle WA and completed the Master of Science in Midwifery program. I worked in Seattle, WA as a midwife and naturopathic doctor offering birth center and home births as well as primary care. Some components of my practice included: lactation and feeding issues (including frenotomy evaluation), birth control including placing IUDs, infertility treatment and routine well child care including vaccinations. In my free time I love to go to concerts, travel, read, be outdoors, play piano, do photography, and spend time with my family.
