Nargess Sharghi Somea is a registered midwife. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Midwifery from Tehran University, Iran and has been working as a registered midwife since 1996. After moving to Canada in 2009, she received her Canadian training at the University of British Columbia in the MMBP program. She has been working as a registered midwife in BC since 2012. She is committed to providing holistic care to families, emphasizing woman-centred care by supporting mothers’ informed decisions.
